Misguided regulation that endangers the public

It is difficult to understand how a person surrounded by a heavily armed protection detail could think it is a good idea to deny the right of personal protection to the rest of us.

Feel good laws and regulations, like this one, serve only to put the general population at risk. These regulations have no affect on the governor as he has a wall of brave men and women who willingly put their lives between him and all physical threats. Yet, this same governor is putting me and my fellow Virginians behind the crosshairs of criminals knowing that this regulation only serves to give deranged killers another gun free killing zone where they know there will be no one to stop them when they decide to kill innocent people. This regulation should not exist and must not be made permanent.
