Headlines pronounce increased attacks, so why give more soft targets and deny law abidding citizens.

Why deny Virginia citizens right to self-defense

This proposed regulation will give terrorists, criminals, and the criminally insane safer access to their targets. Show us the shootings in state agencies that warrant this "emergency", and this prohibition on those with a concealed handgun permit.

Disarming law abidding citizens does not make us safer.   You need to focus on those who seek to do harm or damage, and not the tools and deterrants of others.

Most importantly the Governor has no authority for this regulation. The General Assembly representing the people as a whole, would have to give such power, they would have granted it to him explicitly, as is required constitutionally.   This seems to follow the example of a one person executive actions and a feigned "emergency".

This regulations should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.
