Dangerous public policy

I want my family and friends to be safe but I cannot see how the Governor's proposed regulation helps; in fact, I believe Virginia's would be less safe with the implementation of this dangerous public policy.  To create zones where law-abiding citizens cannot defend themselves and others from actions of terrorists or other criminals defies logic.  The only people following such a regulation would be those who already obey the laws and not the terrorists or criminals for whom the Governor would be creating a free-fire zone.

How does the Governor have legal authority to create laws in the absence of action by the General Assembly ?  I do not want my tax dollars used to defend such a useless and dangerous public reguation created without legal authority.  Certainly, enactment of such regulation will lead to litigation challenges by Second Amendment proponents who must defend the Constitutional right against such politically based regulations.

Say no to the proposed regulation and help keep me and my Virginia family safe.
