The disarming of law abiding Citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia will do nothing for the public good and will make it easier for criminals and terrorist to operate frely on it's streets.  Only good citizens, armed, can stop those who intend to do harm in a timely manner and keep them guessing as to wether they will have an easy target or a hard target to engage.  The Police cannot be everywhere and contrary to popular belief arre not charged with protecting individuals or the general public.  Any infringement of our ability to protect ourselves is a bad idea and an infringement of our rights.
