After all the mass shootings in "gun-free zones," you'd think the governor would learn...

There is no evidence that gun control laws cause a reduction in violent crime.  In fact, gun ownership has been increasing to an all time high while violent crime has been declining for decades and is at a 40-50 year low.  Nearly every high profile mass shooting in recent history has occurred where guns are banned.  This is a profoundly stupid and illogical idea.  Law-abiding citizens would be disarmed and defenseless while mass murderers would increase their chances of a higher death toll.  Governor, why would you want that?
