I applaud the efforts of the governor and members of the General Assembly to reverse the state's punitive regulations that reduce women's access to safe health care.  As a mother of a daughter, and as a woman who faced pregnancies with increased risk of life-threatening birth defects, I count on Planned Parenthood and other women's health services to provide critically needed health care.  

Please show that Virginia is not a state like Texas or Mississippi, where women are treated like second class citizens under the guise of "good" medical care!
