I am writing to ask you to continue to support crucial health and safety standards for abortion clinics. These standards are absolutely necessary to ensure the safety and health of women seeking abortions. Please consider the following:

In two short years, inspections of abortion centers have exposed:
-Blood splattered exam tables and equipment
-Unsterilized needles
-Incomplete lifesaving equipment
-Violations of Virginia parental consent laws
-Absence of reporting of possible cases of child abuse
-and well over 300 other violations!

As I perceive the problems, the only reason that abortion clinics do not want to conform to these crucial health standards, is once again, the almighty dollar. This is absolutely no reason to jeopardize the health, and even lives, of women having abortions.

Please vote for continuation of these crucial health standards, and even more stringent ones as needed. Thank you for considering my views.
