The Virginia Health Department is dedicated to the purpose of providing services to improve the health of its citizens. Upholding standards that require facilities to hire competent doctors and staffs and maintain clean, sterile, and well equiped operating rooms is essential to the well being of the patients, where it be in a regular hospital or an abortion clinic.

In regard to abortion clinics, Planned Parenthood alone is a $1 billion industry that can bring the clinics into compliance with reasonable health and safety standards.

Please explain to the public and me why the VHD would want to do otherwise.
