Health legislation which arises from and becomes a political football cannot possibly offer the considered thoughts of the health community.   This law sought to be one more way of limiting iand thus opposing abortion.   No statistics accompany it stateing that it seeks to overcome documented abortions which have endngered or altered a woman's health.   The lack of comparable laws targeting men, e.g. mandatory vasectomies for repeated sexual assault, aren't mentioned.   Making women the target of legislation is discriminatory and only adds insult to the political gaesmanship.   We cannot allow Virginia to follow this path.
