If the Commonwealth is really interested in helping women with unwanted pregnancy issues, then free contraceptives should be provided and abortions should not be hindered by punishing regulations like TRAP. As it is, only poor women have limited contraceptive and abortion access. The TRAP regulations may diminish the number of abortion providers but do nothing to promote what should be the state's real objective: Better health care for women and babies where every child is wanted and can be financially and emotionally supported by its parents.
