Abortion porponents used to claim that abortion needed to be legalized to protect women from back-alley coat-hanger abortions, but health department inspectors have now uncovered hundreds of health and safety violations in those very abortion centers that are supposed to be safer. What more proof do you need that regulations are needed? It appears that when "health care providers" are actually in the business of killing life, that they lose their concern for the safety and health of the mother whose child they are killing. Abortion centers should be regulated even more carefully than medical facilities that are trying to prolong life and good health. All medical facilities should have standards and regulations - there should be no exceptions just because a facility is for abortions.
