As a father, I watched my wife go through her pregnancy with our firstborn son Michael. We are both very much pro-life and would not think for even a second of considering an abortion. That said, as the son of a medical professional, I also see the importance of maintaining a clean, healthy environment for the highest quality care. If a woman decides to make the decision to go through with the abortion procedure, she should be able to do so in a situation where there is little to no risk for her future health. These regulations are not in place to "force women into back alley abortions using coat hangers" or any number of other "reasons" given by those in the "Pro-abortion" line of thinking, they are not a "trap" as some have attempted to state elsewhere in this particular comment section, these regulations are for the health and safety of our most powerful citizens...our women.
