Importance of pro-choice for optimal health care delivery

As Professor Emerita of Nursing from a major midwestern university I am convinced that anti-choice regulations are not an effective means for decreasing abortions. Trying to disrupt clinic health care delivery with unrealistic building requirements and disrupting preventive health care (cancer and disease screening, reproductive health education, health counciling, health check-ups, etc.) will increase rather than decrease demands/desires for abortions. Rather than battling between pro-choice and anti-choice forces the two sides need civil dialouge to better understand and plan ways to decrease the number of abortions. Planned Parenthood and other clinics providing reproductive health care are not promoting abortions but are trying to decrease the rate of abortions. The health care they provide promotes children by choice - not chance. This takes  planning based on correct knowledge and support. Please stop the anti-choice attacks.
