Penalties

There should be stringent penalties for every infraction in negligence of care nursing homes. Residents there from necessity not want. Give them the care they deserve. My mom was@ envoy forest hill ave 5 years. She had dementia. They did good job caring for her because I was visible, involved. I was there constantly every week. The Mrs was also. Any concerns we had we voiced them immediately and was corrected promptly. Fam members must visit regularly be involved. Don’t abandon your loved ones leaving them all alone. Another issue is you must pay cna’s a decent wage. Not minimum wage. My cousin on the other hand was @ parham rehab,Westport. Both atrocious. Waited long time to be changed & to receive meds. Glen Bernie wreak of urine. This could be you or your loved ones in a facility someday. You want you & yours to be cared for properly. Treat like human beings. Give the Medicare Medicaid patients same care private facilities get. They get treated like royalty!! Their care shouldn’t be better bcuz they can pay themselves. Everyone one can’t afford it. State of Virginia VDH tighten up REGULATE!!
