All Virginians are entitled to express their gender freely and with dignity. The Virginia Department of Health seeks to humiliate, silence, and erase people who dare to exist outside of their binary conception of gender. This policy doesn’t protect women and girls, it destroys freedom of expression in our schools, athletic programs, and public spaces.
