Claims which state that men can identify as women and thereby become women or that women can identify as men and thereby become men are ridiculous, whether viewed biologically, philosophically, morally, or historically. This is also why I am using 'men' to mean 'male' and 'women' to mean 'female. Because they are inherently different, neither sex should be allowed into the private spaces of the other. Therefore, we should reserve women's sports for women, and men's sports for men.
The biological aspect has real physical effects on this issue. The average man in the US is 5'9" and nearly 200 lbs, whereas the average woman is 5'4" and 170 lbs. There are also differences in muscle and fat distribution, skeletal structure, and respiratory and circulatory organ sizes. These inherent differences result in clear advantage for men when competing in women's sports thereby creating a serious concern for both fairness as well as safety.
Morally, we are faced with the issue of predators, those who will pose a threat to women in general and who hold no moral scruples about sneaking into the women's locker room. Lest I be accused of making broad accusations: I have not declared all trans identified individuals to be predators, only that they lack philosophical, moral, historical, and biological grounding on this issue. I am more precisely pointing out that predators in nature often use camouflage to approach their prey. A sexual predator will do the same. Acceptance of men in women's sports will function as that camouflage.
Even without the issue of predators, the violation of women's privacy created by allowing men into women's spaces ensures that the boys involved will grow into maladjusted men who lack a respect for the privacy boundaries that are necessary for women's safety. It also ensures that the girls involved will similarly experience difficulty setting privacy boundaries because it is denied to them during the formative years of their education.
We cannot allow the ludicrous philosophy underpinning gender ideology to influence our schools. Schools are designed to educate students, not to indoctrinate them with nonsense. Therefore, women's locker rooms, restrooms, and sports teams should be reserved for women. Likewise, men's locker rooms, restrooms, and sports teams should be reserved for men.
