My main concern with this petition, other than its egregious discrimination, is that it enables genital inspections on anyone accused of being "biologically male". This directly harm ALL women, especially in an athletic context where female athletes (who tend to be more muscular and thus more masculine) will be under suspicion of being "biologically male" and subject to embarrassing, harmful and invasive methods of determining who is biologically male and female. This is especially harmful for those underage, who may be subject to sexual abuse under the guise of adherence to this bill. Additionally, any cis woman could be accused of being biologically male and having had surgery, and be forced to change in the men's changing room based on unfounded accusations. This bill hurts women, both trans and cis, and gives authorities an avenue for state-sponsored sexual abuse.
