Menhaden are a very important bait fish that lives in the bay!

omega been over harvesting menhaden and not putting resources back into bay!

rockfish populations are crashing because we over harvest menhanden! 
we need to start a breeding program on menhanden to boost population on them and closed menhanden harvest being landed in md/va/nc/de !

I seen less big croaker in bay in last 8 years. Barely any bluefish come to the bay! No idea how many flounder there still are! Back in 2009 there were tons of blues and menhaden and now it 2024 and barely find them menhaden in Maryland waters!
