Additional burden, "NO" CE for PE

One of the reasons I took this test to get my license was to compete with other engineers in the job market. This took a lot of time away from my family and was tough on all of us. Everyone had to make sacrfices. Thankfully, I passed the exam so I can get back to the normal routine life. With this mandate, I do not want to go through it again. This mandate is TOTALLY unacceptable to me.

This requirement will be an additional financial burden along with high cost of living today with no tangible benefit. It will be a complete waste of time.

If you are going to impose this mandate, at least exempt those who have Master's degree or PhD and/or grandfather current PEs into not having to take CEU to keep their license. I would like to point out that when I got my license, I was not under such agreement/contract of taking CEU to keep my license.

Thank you for the opportunity to voice my opinion.
