The Interim Reporting needs to be eliminated because of the growing number of caseloads. Have 12/24 month recerts 6 months for homeless/migrants and mandatory reporting for changing like it use to be within 10 days. When you have 35-45 food stamp recerts and 40-48 interim reports a month, tanf recerts, 40+ medicaid renewals, 50+ changes a month and clients constantly calling and coming in asking to see you plus sending and resending the interim reports back out because they are not completed you are frantically searching for time to process your cases in the month.
If the Interim Reporting is kept at least if they are not turned in on time (in the month they are due)they need to be pro-rated like the food stamp recerts. A lot of the clients wait and turn them in in the second month and then they get supplemented.
