I feel the IR is a good thing.  I carry a heavy caseload as most in this agency do.  If we were to revert back to 6 month renewals I would not have enough time in the month to complete all of my work.  There are some months where I already have to interview 40 or more customers.  I don't know where I would find the extra time to see additional people. 

With the Interim Reporting, in most cases, I can complete the process quickly as I have informed my customer's as to how the Interim Reporting process works at their initial face to face interview.  From time to time I may have to send an IR Request for Action but not often. This is a faster way to get the job done.

Also, please keep in mind those that we service have transportation issues.  It is difficult for them to obtain transportation to get here once a year, let alone twice a year and most don't have working telephone numbers to conduct a telephone interview. Why inconvience our customer's even more?

Please keep the Interim Reporting in place as I find this is a good practice for both the customer as well as the worker.
