The data for children and COVID is very different for children than it is adults. We have no long term safety data on this vaccine (and will not until more time has passed). Most young children do not have the same infection spread rate as adults and the efficacy of the vaccine will continue to evolve and possibly evade new mutations. There needs to be more data before mandating this. The fatality rate for children and COVID is incredibly low.
