NO.

Until COVID-19 presents an imminent threat to my children, they will remain unvaccinated. Since the onset of the pandemic, there's broad data-backed consensus that the virus poses a remarkably infinitesimal risk to kids. Scientifically speaking, the benefits (temporary immunity) simply do not outweigh the risks (long-term side effects).

If these vaccines are truly effective, as I believe they are, then by definition, they should easily protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. Such a mandate for teachers and students is frivolous and unquestionably oppressive.

I am pro-science.  I am pro-medicine.  I am also pro-liberty. The Fourteenth Amendment limits the local government's ability to infringe on medical freedom -- "nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law".

As a parent and an American, I passionately reject this petition.
