Chapter Information

Description	The purposes of this chapter are (i) to establish minimum requirements for the certification of small, women- and minority-owned businesses pursuant to Chapter 16.1 (§ 2.2-1603 et seq.) of Title 2.2 of the Code of Virginia and (ii) to provide a process for evaluating local, state, private sector, and federal certification programs that meet those requirements. The director of the department shall have final authority on all matters pertaining to the maintenance and administration of certification programs and compliance therewith.
