Description This regulation establishes the policies and rules that VDOT will follow in matters relating to roadway lighting, including conditions under which VDOT will pay for the construction and maintenance of roadway lighting, and when these costs should be borne by others. The Office of the Attorney General has found that this regulation is exempt from the APA under Section 9-6.14:4.1 B 3 and B 4 (effective 10/1/01, 2.2-4002 B3 and B4).This regulation has been filed by description.
State Authority Section 33.1-210 , Code of Virginia .
Federal Authority None.
Exempt from APA Yes, changes to this chapter of the VA Administrative Code are exempt from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act.
