Action Summary The regulatory chapter 150 does not need to be an independent chapter, but the underlying regulation of section 20(A) can be retained and streamlined under 8VAC20-720, which will enhance clarity and reduce the number of Board’s regulatory chapters remaining necessary for the protection of public health, safety, and welfare in that it sets out the rules concerning the management of scholastic records of all student in accordance with applicable law, including the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, and the Code of Virginia.
