The proposed changes are needed in order to respond to a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Informational Bulletin requiring states to “ensure that their Medicaid state plans comply with third party liability (TPL) requirements reflected in current law.” Virginia’s TPL text required updates to align with current law. |
