Action:
Amendments to Virginia's Ignition Interlock Regulations
Action 5454

General Information
Action Summary The bulk of the proposed changes to Virginia's Ignition Interlock Regulations reflect procedures already being practiced in the Commonwealth, and language edits for clarification purposes. More flexibility is proposed for the Commission on VASAP to modify and randomize the times of ignition interlock rolling retests as well as alter customer service requirements in the event of declared federal or state emergencies. The routing of administrative fees paid by the ignition interlock service providers to the VASAP system is changed.
