Action Summary |
This action corrects an unintended consequence from revisions which became effective on February 9, 2017. This action amends 12 VAC35-115-105(B) (Behavioral Treatment Plans) to included licensed behavior analysts to those professional who may conduct a detailed and systematic assessment of the behavior and the situations in which the behavior occurs before a provider may use individualized restrictions such as restraint or time out in a behavioral treatment plan to address challenging behaviors that present an immediate danger to the individual or others.
