| Action Summary |
As part of Governor McDonnell’s reform and restructuring of state government, the 2012 General Assembly Session abolished the Pesticide Control Board and transferred its duties to the Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
2VAC20-11 et seq. establishes the public participation guidelines adopted by the Pesticide Control Board. This regulation is identical to the public participation guidelines adopted by the Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services (BACS), as both agencies adopted the model public participation guidelines issued by the Department of Planning and Budget. As the BACS has adopted public participation guidelines, 2VAC20-11 et seq. does not need to be transferred to the BACS and may be repealed.
