General Information
Action Summary The purpose of the proposed action is to clarify terminology and various procedures in order to improve the human rights protections provided by these regulations. This action will also align provisions with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including federal regulations for health information pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
