The 2015 General Assembly enacted House Bill 1570/Senate Bill 1168 that added § 63.2-1721.1 to the Code of Virginia, effective July 1, 2017. Licensed child day centers will follow background check requirements in §63.2-1721.1 effective July 1, 2017. The Code reference in 22VAC40-185 B to § 63.2-1721 needs to be revised to § 63.2-1721.1, effective July 1, 2017. |
