Please Pass The Poultry Litter Regulation

Hi My name is Norma Kawecki and I live at 9859 Sailfish Terrace, Montgomery Village , MD 20886.    I'm writing because I use the Shenandoah River, Smith Creek, Stoney Creek, Little Stoney Creek, Passage Creek or other water bodies in VA as well as in surrounding states to fly fish.  I support the regulation of end users and brokers when they use poultry litter as fertilizer.  After several decades of concentrated litter use in the Shenandoah Valley and Eastern Shore we have already demonstrated convincingly the type of pollution that occurs when litter use is unregulated.  Please help improve the condition of our polluted rivers and also ensure our healthy streams remain pristine by requiring litter application setbacks from sensitive envronmental features and streams, soil testing to guide application rates, application close to crop growing season, and better litter covering practices.  Thank you for considering my perspective.
