I moved to VA about 3 years ago and fish and camp the Shenandoah River about 5 to 10 times a year. It is a beautiful river being seriously damaged by poultry runoff. Regulations need to be made to control the farms and how they dispose of their waste. Waste water polluting rivers is not only a hazard to the aquatic life but to human life as well. Stop giving us excuses as to why the fish kills are happening, we know why farms not disposing of their waste properly. This is not a pet waste issue and to try to disguise it as such is ridiculous.
