Virginia needs abortion regulation to keep the clinics clean and safe for women

Wether you are for or against abortion you would want to make sure the abortion clinics meet basic standards of care that are required for any outpatient surgical procedure.  If this is not regualted the abortion clinics as well as any surgical clinics will go to the lowest level of care at the least expense to save money at the cost of the patient.  This is a basic human trajectory if not regulated.  People will try to make the most money and keeping clinics safe and clean cost money.  But we as Virginians need to make a minimal requirement of health safety which includes clean and sterile offices, instruments and equipment; proper lighting for doctor and staff to see what thery are doing; hallways wide enought to allow a gurney to pass to transport a patient who may be in trouble. Reporting should be required so we can adequately document complications. Safeguards must be in place to protect women who make the difficult decision to abort. Do you want your daughter to get aids or die during an abortion because the clinics were not properly maintained?  Before any regulations were in place, abortion clinics were inspected at a scheduled time and the disgusting nature of the clinics were documented on many sites.  We have see how unsafe the clinics are without regulations.  If you care at all about women's health you will demand necessary regulations.
