Health and Safety Regulations for Abortion Centers

The Health and Safety Regulations that were previously passed need to continue to be in place.  Abortions Centers surely need to abide by  basic health and safety standards, just as any other clinic would. After inspection of a Fairfax abortion facility following is one of the failed safety standards:

  • Facility staff failed to ensure the availability of sinks for proper handwashing, proper cleaning of environmental surfaces, proper disinfection of equipment, ability to verify the recommended level of sterilization was achieved and periodic and ongoing maintenance of equipment.

Standards such as having availability of sinks for proper handwashing & proper cleaning of environmental surfaces, and proper disinfection of equipment is of the utmost importance!
