I am writing to beg you to NOT relax the standards at abortion clinics!  Now is not the time to give abortion clinics permission or license to do whatever they want.  They should have to follow the same standards that all medical clinics and hospitals have.  Just because abortion is such a controversial topic, it seems that quite often the abortion clinics get a "pass" when it comes to following the standard medical rules.  However, regardless of your position on abortion (which I think is the taking of an innocent life and is incredibly wrong), surely we can all agree that the women who are in there STILL deserve the same level of care they would get if they went in for a Pap smear (or a "well women checkup") at their local gynecologists office.  They deserve clean gloves, clean medical equipment, proper education prior to anything being done, licensed medical professionals and I could go on. I bet you to not loosen the law for them at all. If anything, we need to increase the standards that we expect abortion clinics to follow. Thank you.
