I Suppport This Petition - Accountability for life shouldn't be whined about as "extra paperwork"

I have witnessed too much vengeful killing at the hands of the shelters in Virginia. From a friend's Facebook status on September 30, 2014:

"CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH SPCA SUCKS!

Rest in Peace Mellie - YOU WERE LOVED!

One of my WONDERFUL roommates got upset with me one day and decided to call the city pound. They took Mellie away because she technically wasn't mine. They reassured me that I could get her back and do to 'these' things (of which I did all of them in spades). THEN today I called to see if I could pick her up and they said they euthanized her yesterday afternoon. I WAS LIVID! The vet who put her to sleep called me and said she was old, blind and had a growth on her and that nobody would want her. I DID! It was IN their paperwork! Anyway - I'm sure they do good things - but they're a bunch of idiots in my book and all need shot. I ended the phone call with the vet this way. "Go kill a few more dogs that have good homes before you go home today and don't forget to tell your kids that mommy had a great day at the office now F*CK OFF!" (and I hung up loudly)"

That was in the paperwork. The veternarians I choose and have gone to for the past 20 years, in Virginia, wouldn't ever act so unethically or unscrupiously. They understand bonds are formed and made BY ANIMALS, not just humans. They act first and foremost for the animals, not for space considerations, not for convenience. They wouldn't fear accountability because they make the right choice every time.

I've watched PETA systematicelly kill countless healthy pets which weren't old, blind or in any other way any flawless. In fact, they killed my perfectly adorable and affectionate cat, Molly. These places need to have some sort of accountability rather than just stick a needle in the animal's veins and like a morbid sociopath pretend they are delivering "sweet death". Even Dr. Jack Kavorkian kept records or his assisted suicides. The time has come to put an end to so-called animal rights and welfare organizations which are not in support of protecting tame/domenstic animals. Please help. Inconvenience shouldn't be an excuse when animals lives are at stake. We wouldn't want somebody to use that as an excuse if it were our own lives.
