Not opposed to hands-on teaching, but owners should know what they've agreed to

I understand the value of teaching programs.  I had my own pre-surgical evaluation and surgery performed in a teaching hospital, and I didn't mind interacting with the med students.  I realize that this is how people learn to do their jobs.  But this proposed legislation is about informed consent, not about banning teaching programs altogether.  People should know what they're getting; explaining how caregiving responsibilites are delegated and supervised to someone who otherwise might not understand strikes me as a reasonable action to take.
