I would be outraged if a student veteranarian provided unsupervised care to my pets or any animals as they DO NOT have the experience.  Furthermore, if it was done without my knowledge or consent, there would be serious consequences if anything happened to an animal as a result of this inadequate and irresponsible care.  These students need to learn, but they need to learn by assisting an experienced veterinarian or being closely supervised--for ALL procedures, exams, surgeries, etc.  Animals are not experiments!!!
