I find it deplorable and incomprehensible that this is still going on!  Would you want a medical school student in poorly supervised care of your child without your knowledge or consent???????  I think not!!!!  A trained/licensed vet should be in attendance - common AND ethical sense!!  Get it right OR stop doing it!
