Please maintain the current abortion center regulations -- they are needed to protect Virginia women from the many health and safety violations that have been discovered during health department inspections. These violations include improper sanitation, expired medications, and inadequate training and certification of abortion workers. The abortionists are clearly unwilling to correct these violations on their own. For these reasons, abortion centers must be required by law to adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities.
