I urge you to maintain the abortion center regulations as they are now written.

Based on Department of Health inspections, it is obvious that an unregulated abortion environment places a woman at similar risk as an abortion performed in the "back alley." These inspections revealed hundreds of violations, including but not limited to blood splattered exam tables and unsterilized equipment. The recent revelations about the abortion centers run by "Dr." Steven Brigham are just one example of the environment that women will face when abortions are performed for profit only, and without regard for the welfare of the female patient.

Please do not establish an environment where women are handled like animals. Retain the abortion center regulations, and insure that they are enforced.
