Abortion is a surgical procedure and therefore common sense says that this procedure should have quality standards for hygiene and sterilization. Standards to protect the lives of women are essential.  It is not uncommon for a uterus or a blood vessel to be accidentally punctured and thus cause massive bleeding.  So access to the best aid, emergency room care and operating theaters just makes sense.
