Restrining a mother while in labor and cruel idea.   As a childbearing mother of four I can guarantee you that a women in the full throes of labor isn't going any where.   I sincerely hope that you administer some form of relief for these women---epidurals, etc.  The more you do to relieve her stress, the better offf the baby will be.  it is the right of all citizens to be treated fairly and with compassion, including the child to be born.     Please do not ret=strin these women, for both their physical and mental health  LindaHall.
