Support proposed change

I agree that all income should be counted the same for all household members applying and receiving SNAP benefits.   These households do not purchase and prepare their food separate which means, that even though an illegal member may not be included on the grant they still purchase and prepare their food as one household.

This policy change could eliminate some acts of fraud because clients are familiar with our policy and know that income is evaluated differently if they report an illegal status. I have noticed that many households are not reporting alien status changes which could make a household ineligible for SNAP benefits.
