I have been practicing in the CNS role since 1990.  I am in support of the petition to recognize Clinical Nurses Specialists as an Advanced Practice Role (APRN) and grant licensure instead of regulation in the state of Virginia.  It is imperative that Virginia make this change in preparation for the looming healthcare changes in our country.
