As a CNS with the underserved population of children with mental illness, I am able improve outcomes of patients and families.  I am limited in my scope of practice in this state because of regulations inconsistent with those of the majority of states.  I can not recommend more highly the approval of this petition, most especially in light of the national and statewide shortage of child mental health service providers.
