| Goals of Regulation |
To protection public health and/or welfare with the least possible costs and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth. To establish consistent procedures and requirements for the issuance of VPDES permits to discharge sewage from treatment works with design flows of 1,000 gallons per day or less in order to effectuate the proper and comprehensive protection of state waters. |
