The Virginia State Dairymen’s Association appreciates this opportunity to comment on the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services proposed amendments to the “Regulations Governing Grade “A” Milk.”  The Virginia State Dairymen’s Association is committed to ensuring that state regulations remain in line with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinances. The VSDA board voted unanimously to support the changes to ensure Virginia’s dairy farmers access to milk markets.  We urge the Board to approve the proposed amendments to the regulations.

The Virginia State Dairymen’s Association is a member organization that represents dairy farmers from around the Commonwealth. We have been actively involved in furthering opportunities for dairymen since our inception in 1907.
